Prayer requests for March 25th Spencer Moulton : to be aware, awake and passionate about the people of NOLA and to make advances on my concerns for their struggles through service Praise: I got to share the Gospel last night Natalie Steiner: Sick people will feel better, build new relationships, have the right motives when serving others Praise: He brought us all here safely Tim: I pray that I can learn something new about myself and learn to be a help to others Praise: That God called me here Sam Gerken: That I will make the right decisions while I am here Praise: We all made it here safely and I made it without getting too sick Kent Beckman: That I can be used effectively this week Praise: That I am here Zach Johnson: Strength and courage while I am here Praise: That I am here Austin Stevens: That God works through me this week and talks to me so that I can follow what he wants me to do Praise: My health is getting better Anna Locklear: That I can grow close with everyone on the team Praise: We have arrived here safely so we can serve Devon: That I reach out to someone today Praise: I’m in New Orleans Julie Quandt: Safety and healing for the team Praise: For the souls we met last night, my blackberry was found Abby B: That I can get over this cold and that I can continue to live courageously for Christ today. Praise: I met the people I did last night. Andrew Keaskowski: Get closer to God and others Praise: I got to experience what I did yesterday with the homeless. Jen Locklear: Health for all of our missionaries, safety. Praise: we were able to serve with Center of Jesus Church Marilyn Harrison: Hope this trip goes safe Praise: we are helping Pepe: Pray for friends and family safety Praise: We made it here safely Alaina: That I got 100% better, we would get the money we need to support Hy and Libba, my love would look more like Jesus Praise: We have gr8 leaders on this trip. I am so grateful to work with them. Kayla: Pray for Angelo and Gloria that they will stay safe and continue to have each other to depend on and make each other happy. Praise: I got to meet so many new people and that He brought me here to New Orleans Savannah: That I would be bold and God would bless the people we met last night Praise: I was able to give my bracelet away yesterday since I never did on the last trip Kim: That we will have the health and energy to do God’s work today. Praise: we are here Heather Morrison: Help me to stay focused on God all day and don’t let anything distract me. Praise: I raised almost all my money last week Lura Q: To help me to stretch my comfort zone Praise: God is always with us Logan Walker: That I can step as far as I can go outside my comfort zone. Praise: I met Willie Brandon: Juan is going through hard times in his life and he has even tried suicide. I hope he realizes he needs to share the Gospel. Praise: Juan is still alive Wes: God’s protection on my family at home Jason K: please God make it so all words and actions today from me are a blessing to all around me Praise: That God asked Jesus to go out of His comfort zone for all of us. Paul P: Help me not to care what other people think of me. It distracts me from what truly matters and that’s the Lord and His will. Praise: He’s always there Morgan Walker: That I would cling to Jesus today. That He would strengthen me and use me for His glory. That I would be a reflection of the God who races down from Heaven to embrace his people. Praise: He gives us opportunities to show His love.
