A Thank You from Our Ministry Partners!
March 30, 2013
“And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the
greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
Dear Faith Church Family,
WOW!! Another wonderful week with Faith Church and Love As
Jesus Ministries!! Thank you for the many great things you all did for LAMB
Ministries, our kids, our families, our little “Eagle’s Wings” church, our
B&B home and for Hy and me personally!! You blessed us every day you were
here in every way you could. We are forever grateful. Living and serving the
Lord in the spiritual darkness which is New Orleans can be overwhelming. The
gifts of love and hard work you all gave us this last week have lifted and
encouraged us so much that we have renewed hope and ENERGY for the work the
Lord has laid out for us to do here. We thank God and our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ for you all. We thank God for Faith Church and for the Servant
Leadership of Wes Slawson. We can see a new gladness in the smiles of our Eagle
Street kids, as well as in Treachelle, Isaac, Jackie and her ministry kids,
Terence and our “downtown” kids and even in our Monday night Bible Study
adults. The Lord used you to impart a new joy to us all. Thank you! You shared
the Lord with everyone you met, you prayed for everyone, you cooked, painted,
cleaned, repaired, replaced door knobs and locks, pulled up carpets and even
shored up our roof!!!! These things were too much and too many for us, so you
shared our burdens and lightened our load so that we could start anew reaching
people with the Gospel. “ Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law
of Christ”. Galatians 6:2
Forever love to you all, Hy and Libba McEnery
